Biomedical Sciences professors receive Way Klingler Awards
Dr. Paul Gasser, associate professor of biomedical sciences, received a
Way Klingler Fellowship Award for his project: Cellular mechanisms underlying neuroprotective and anti-inflammatory actions of norepinephrine in the brain, and Dr. Matthew Hearing, assistant professor of biomedical sciences,
received a Way Klingler Early Career Award for his project: Developing novel neural imaging tools to understand how chronic stress and opioids impair flexible decision-making and emotional control.
